Suicide Prevention

Suicide is a leading cause of death, and a priority concern identified by residents in our communities.

Suicide is complex, and there are a range of factors—at the individual, relationship, community, and societal levels – that can increase risk for suicide.
We can take action in communities to create supportive environments and protect one another from suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Best practices for suicide prevention are always evolving, click here for current best practices.
